Our Short Term Goals

This week Joyce and I have been putting together a calendar and lists of videos that we want to film.

So far Joyce has posted a video yesterday (did you miss it?), and we are meeting on Thrusday, after work, of course, to film at least 8 more videos. We try to take advantage of the free time we get, and film ahead for when we cannot put a couple hours aside to film.

Unfortunatly, editing and uploading has proven to be a challenge. My laptop, for some reason is not cooperating. I’m not the most tech savvy person and I cannot get the correct format on the videos I save to transfer to the editor to edit. Not only that, but if I get far enough to figure it out, the laptop freezes within a few minutes. Even as I type this I am crossing my fingers that it does not freeze. I am in dire need of a new laptop because it is so hard to contribute the way that I would like to. So far Joyce is the only one editing and that is not going to work out in the long term. We should both be equally involved in the entire process. So, that brings me to what we would like to do for now to get started.

Now that we have a camera and lights (props to Joyce again!!!), our next goal is to get an external hard drive, and editing software. For me, obviously a laptop and I’d like to get an extra external hard drive.

In the meantime we intend to keep uploading regularly, of course. Filming at least once a week, which is best part, and not losing sight of what we want to achieve.
