Bishop T.D. Jakes: If You Hold Onto History, You Could Lose Your Destiny

I was listening to this click form Bishop TD Jakes, and this quote spoke VOLUMES to me. I don’t think I fully understand the damage that occurs when I keep holding on to the pain form the past. Powerful quote. I hope this comforts your soul and you find the strength to let go and let God.

“When you hold on to your history, you do it at the expense of your density.”
-Bishop Jakes

Austin

AUSTIN. AUSTIN. AUSTIN. AUSTIN.

So I love Austin. I’m seriously thinking about moving there in the near future. Until then I enjoy my long weekend trips to AUSTIN. There is so much to do and everything is close by. Also different from where I live is people are outside walking around and enjoying life.

This past weekend my family from South Africa said goodbye to the USA because they are going back home and leaving me 😦 I traveled to Austin and stayed with my baby sister and had an awesome weekend. We went to Zilker Park, Barton Spring Pool. This pool is so cool. Its a natural pool. I didn’t feel like getting in the water but next time I’m in Austin I will definitely check it out. Check out the link for more details.

NASA

Hey you guys. Sorry we have been MIA, but life happens. I have really missed you guys. NEWS: We will continue the 31 blog post challenge in August. Until then we are chalk full of entertaining posts, so let’s dive in.

These past two weekends I have be so busy playing the hostess because my LOVELY family from South Africa came to the states and I was so happy to see my baby cousins. I do not have any family that lives close to me. It gets lonely and when the opportunity rises and family comes to visit or I am able to travel and visit them; I am like a bowl full of jelly. LOL

First weekend we got to go to NASA, my first time and it was FUN. We went on the red tour. I enjoyed it, however it was soo HOT. I would suggest going in fall or spring. They have tons of exciting games for kids. Take the whole family. The whole trip was really educational and awesome to see how hard the scientists and engineers work. When I was younger I secretly wanted to be the first African woman in space. I was given the opportunity to go to Space Camp in Alabama when I was in 5th grade. Best childhood memories. Nevertheless, I didn’t choose that path, my love for science and research developed at Space Camp.

Here are some pictures. Enjoy

Hugs
