I’m glad to get back on the blogging wagon. Fell off there for a while. but I am coming back refreshed, rested and very excited.
Since I last blogged I have bought a camera. It is of decent quality and am very excited to film with it!
This week has been great for progress on our channels. This was a what we call a “progress report” week. Joyce and I turn one in every other week, where we list things we want to get accomplished in the next two weeks and things we would like to discuss. We also plan all the videos we would like to film and edit.
Once a month we also turn in Report Cards where we delve a little deeper into our long term goals and we write about our inspirations and reasons for wanting to work on YouTube.
By far, however, this week has been the most productive of all since we started doing these reports. We are still new to all of this, but I feel we are finally getting into a routine and assimilating all of the work required for our channels into our lives. We made schedules for the week and we assigned tasks.
We also went shopping today, so it was work and fun all at once, which is the best kind of work there is. We bought a few things to decorate backdrops for both our channels, which I will not show you yet since we have not put it all together yet, but we are very much looking forward to how it will turn out!
Lastly on our list of accomplishments this week is that we finally got editing software. It is the Sony Vegas Pro 11 and we got a very good deal and from the little we have played with it so far, we like what we have seen and editing should be much more proffesional looking now!
For now we have scheduled to meet on Friday, we have planned on filming quite a few videos this week with our new backdrop and making use of our new editing software to have a few videos out next week.
Should be alot of work! but we are itching to get started!
